The ProfileGrid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access due to a missing capability check on the pm_create_message function in versions up to, and including, 5.8.7. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to send messages even when they haven't been assigned the proper privileges to do so.
