RobotCPA <= 5 - Unauthenticated Local File Inclusion

Improper Control of Filename for Include/Require Statement in PHP Program ('PHP Remote File Inclusion')
CVE CVE-2015-9480
CVSS Critical (9.8)
Publicly Published June 10, 2015
Last Updated August 9, 2024
Researcher T3N38R15
Description

The robotcpa plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 5 via the 'l' parameter of the 'f.php' file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included.
