CVE CVE-2023-40667
CVSS Medium (6.1)
Publicly Published August 21, 2023

Researcher Rafshanzani Suhada
Description

The Simple URLs plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post_id' parameter in versions up to, and including, 117 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
