CVSS High (8.8)
Publicly Published December 11, 2024
Last Updated December 19, 2024
Researcher Kévin Mosbahi (Mika)
Description

The WordPress Post Grid Layouts with Pagination – Sogrid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.2. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation in the /admin-panel/views/tabs/settings.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update arbitrary options which can lead to privilege escalation granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
