The TheGem theme for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification and retrieval of data due to a missing capability check on the ajaxApi() function called via an AJAX action in versions up to 5.8.1.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to perform several actions like modifying custom fields, theme options, retrieving theme data, and more
