Woo File Dropzone <= 1.1.7 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary File Deletion

Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal')
CVE CVE-2025-68862
CVSS Medium (4.3)
Publicly Published February 5, 2026
Last Updated February 9, 2026
Researcher Skalucy
Description

The Woo File Dropzone plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.7. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
